Getting two letters mixed up when typing a URL into the address bar of your browser can result in a trip to a site you may not be too thrilled about. Pornography is all over the internet and is often stumbled across when doing a search or making simple error in your typing. Although some people don't mind coming across those sites, it gets deeply under the skin of others.
Short of censoring the internet completely, porn is here to stay. It is unlikely that these type of sites will soon disappear. There are regulations that are supposed to take care of children coming across it. There is software available to block them from your computer. Can you rid the internet world of pornography? The likelihood just isn't there.
There are many sites that present themselves to be something other than a pornography site. One such site is AFF.com. The full name is Adult Friend Finder. If you go to this site, you will see pornography strewn about the pages as though no one cares. The truth is, those that choose to join such sites don't care. They are having fun and feel that it is no one else's business to interrupt their behavior. Sites like this are not professional videos of people have sex. These are your everyday average Joe/Jill seeking different things. Most often these things involve sexual desires.
There are other sites that are strictly professional videos and pictures of pornography. These run rampant through the world wide web and the owners of such sites make millions of dollars from people seeking out their "products".
The amateur sites can be downright funny to visit. These are generally free to surf sites that allow people to upload their own videos which can include some that will make you laugh. These are becoming more and more popular as people get less and less shy. Showing your otherwise private body parts on the internet has become a way of life for many people.
Porn sites are one of the most popular things for people to do on the internet. It's easy to find and people like sex. Most people don't like to admit that they visit these sites. It goes against everything they were ever taught. It somehow draws them in like little children who sneak into the cookie jar. The bottom line is, it is unlikely that something that so many people love to do will disappear without a fight.
It is well within reason that you wouldn't want your child to come across something like this. It portrays sexual activity as something you do at will. It tells us that it doesn't matter
