"Walking on Water"
I don't know. It doesn't seem too hard,
one foot in front of the other.
Even standing still.
They just don't make shoes like they used too;
shoes that can withstand: "they might just get wet."
"But," I'm told, "it's easy." And all I need
is the F-word. And some seeds of evidence.
Despite the vast ocean, life comes in small doses,
if you ask.
That's what they say. And I asked.
But life doesn't come in any metric humans decide;
nor does God.
And it's enough of a miracle
to walk on dry land;
or even standing still.
