How stay-at-home moms can avoid work-from-home fraud and scams

Avoiding scams becomes easily identified by the request of your money in order to make money. You are required to join their program or pay for their advice on how to earn additional money at home. This is always the first red flag. Free websites are sometimes offered if you join their program and you think yes this must be legit since it is free but alas, you join for just to discover that to be successful you must upgrade for a measly $39.99. Of course, this is a special rate for a specific time and you are suckered in. Unfortunately, you send in your money and discover that no one evens visits your web page as you try your hardest to lure more suckers in to pay for this great program. Thousands of people receive the same pop up or web site as they surf the net. The only ones making any money are the people who invented this type of fraud. The good news is there are many companies out there that do hire work at home agents. These companies do not require any up front fees nor require do they advertise. They may however have certain requirements to be actively employed for them. Some of these requirements may be headsets, high-speed internet, a windows operating system, a separate dedicated phone line, and a quiet work environment. They hire you as either an employee or independent contractor and you will receive regular paychecks. More and more companies are hiring at home agents so there are opportunities out there. Email scams are sometimes very legit sounding. I have found that by simply coping and pasting a few sentences of the email in google, results populate from many sources informing you of this fraud. I enjoy sending my results back to the scammer, which results in a total withdraw from communication or another email telling me how they are a legit business and continue with their fraudulent activity trying to convince me, how legitimate they are. At this point, I reply yet again informing them that our Attorney General has been forwarded all existing emails from them to verify legitimacy resulting in no further contact from them.

Finding legit companies is not easy. Since these companies do not recruit, you usually need a bit of luck finding them. Some companies that do hire at home agents are UHAUL, 1-800 flowers, Convergys, OnPoint, Ver A Fast, Lionbridge, Voicelog, and Voip. By doing a google search, you will be directed to their site and see a link to apply. Most require an application as well as tests. Many are also agencies that hire for other companies such as Comcast. People are tired of calling a call center to discover that they are talking to someone in India and cannot understand a word they say. Companies such as Dell outsource many customer service jobs to save them money. Americans are tired of this outsourcing and many companies have come realize this. By being proactive within their company concerning this issue, home agents were invented.

For additional information concerning working at home, there are many blogs out there on the net. One of the best is workplacelikehome. This blog has many links for work at home opportunities. No money is required for these legit links and you may read or chat with other work at home agents concerning the good and bad regarding different companies. I wish you luck on your trip to working at home legitimately.
