Poetry: Prostitution

by Susan B. Anna

Created on: March 11, 2009

I am a prostitute, yes this is true. To sway you and lure you is what I'm expected to do. Men come and go, sometimes twenty a night. Some may be married, and others may not. Some may be kind while others seem cruel, as I risk being raped every night too.

What I do is a living others can't understand. I am a prostitute therefore, I am what I am. I'm paid for a service, which I do very well, or else I wouldn't be consumed with such a high clientele.

There are days when I wish I could just turn them away, but then come to think, how will I get paid? My body may be taken, to do as you please, to role play or masturbate if that's what you need.

My job is to please you and fulfill your desires. I don't care if you're taken or even retired. You may wonder why I chose such a profession, but with the life of a prostitute there is no recession.

With one night alone I can pay all my bills. It might not be prestigious, but it is what I do.

I am a prostitute. It is my profession my goal is to please you with no doubt or objections
