When men leave home in the morning they want to look and feel their best. To achieve that feeling of confidence there are products that should be in every man's bathroom.
The following items can be found in pharmacies and bathroom accessory stores:
1. Toothbrush, dental floss and toothpaste. This dental combination is necessary for good oral hygiene.
2. Mouthwash. After teeth are flossed and brushed a good swish with a minty, but not medicinal, mouthwash is refreshing and makes a man's breath smell fresh.
3. Shampoo for whatever type of hair he has . Dry hair or oily hair need different kinds of shampoos. Dry scalp is also easily taken care of with special shampoos so there is no need to have dry flakes on your dark clothes.
4. Hair conditioner. Men should use unscented conditioner to keep their hair from becoming dry.
5. Body wash. Why use soap when they have so many great scented body washes for men ? They also have body washes for men that have sensitive skin.
6. Deodorant. This should go without saying but just in case here it is. There are so many varieties that it may take a few trials to find the right one.
7. Moisturizer. Men can have dry skin on their face. As men age they need to moisturize their face every day to prevent premature dryness and wrinkles. There is a large variety of skin care products for men so it is not difficult to find the right one.
8. Sunscreen. Important for preventing skin cancer, premature wrinkles and dry skin. This is for those men who jog, bike, hike or spend any time outdoors.
9. Shaver. This can be electric or manual but all men should own one of these. Even if men have a beard they should trim around the edges.
10. Shaving cream or gel. Again, this product comes in all sorts of formulations. They have shaving cream for heavy beards, light beards, dry skin, sensitive skin or normal skin.
11. Nose hair trimmer There is something so unattractive about wisps of hair protruding from a man's nose. These are slim, easy to operate, battery charged and necessary.
12. Tweezers. The same hair that sprouts from noses can also grow inside their earlobes or behind their ears.Eyebrows should not be pencil thin but stray bristly hairs can be plucked.
13. Hair brush and comb. Wide teeth or narrow teeth combs depending on the type of hair or natural bristled vs. plastic bristled brushes.
14. Mirror. This should be a hand held mirror with 2 sides. One of the sides should me magnified. This is better than the mirror on the medicine cabinet as it allows to see stray hairs or anything else that is amiss from close up. They also have magnifying mirrors that light up.
15. Cotton swabs for cleaning ears.
16. Nail clippers. There is something so nice about seeing a man's well-manicured fingernails and toenails.
17. Hand cream. Once the nails are trimmed a small dab of hand cream finishes the look .
18. Hair gel and eyebrow gel for hard to tame curly or coarse hair.
19. Thick bath towels, face cloths and hand towels.
20. Cologne. Some men love cologne while others do not. The scent is purely subjective but a bit of cologne is better than a huge splash.
These twenty product suggestions are perfect for stocking a man's bathroom.
