Teenagers? What can I say?
Drama, pure drama from day to day!
Let's not forget about the lingering attitude.
You? Run the risk of not trying to be rude?
If I could be a teenager, would I go back to 1979?
Or would I trade places with you in this troubled day and time?
Growing up in a world so full of the unknown.
Trying to fit in and pretending to be grown.
Teenagers? What can I say?
Be good. Be bold.
Be nice. Try to live to be ripe and old.
Too much TV. Too many video games.
Too many rules. Too many parents. Now who shares the blame?
Teenagers? What can I say?
Be the best. Beat the rest. Just continue to play.
Before you know it, life will no longer be fun.
Cause you'll finally grow up and have a teenage daughter or son.
