The following narrative illustrates a couple's story about the first meeting and continuation of possible love:
Once upon a time, it was day and night that watched the stroll of a snail along San Jose Bay. At Sunrise, the snail had a tortoise friend who enjoyed the green sap from sycamore trees. The two fell in love on an autumn day when the summer winds were stilled and the fallen snow had not reached their reality.
The tortoise and snail were adventurous and strong; although, the snail was far more beautiful than the tortoise with a flowery shell to reflect many lands and experiences. The tortoises' shell was scuffed and scarred from experiences also those of which no memory would rather retain.
The snail and tortoise had few tangible commonalities like that of beauty and the beast, except that they were both striver's with a stride which was fast and fierce in destiny's eyes.
The snail, and its' beauty, began the day in a photogenic way. The tortoise had a three-legged trudge through the beginning of each day when a load to tarry within a journey usually concluded with contemplations drawn upon leaflets.
The snail and tortoise were, both, challenged in the areas of intellect. The days which they prevailed in were fewer than most of what their counterparts experienced.
Yet, they took each day as it came with one single purpose of inching closer to their goals.
The tortoise fell in love with the snail, after understanding that it could no longer be the hare that it wanted to be. Hence, the snail's shell showed the tortoise the reflection of a mantle that it knew of and, yet, had forgotten existed. The tortoise was encouraged to be that which only existed within potential.
The snail showed the tortoise that life was new each day, as it was the refreshing day's picture at the end of the evening which mattered most of all.
The tortoise and the snail were an odd pair at first glance; however, the love which the tortoise possessed shaded their consciousness from others reckoning about their successful existence.
In times past, the snail began its' journey in a far away land where culture, family, and economics thrived. As for the tortoise, it revealed the history of life moments where survival through steadfastness was the aim.
Now the two foreign friends have come to appreciate the softer side of life, because they now understand the stronger sides of each other while on a sunset stroll.
