The following narrative illustrates the meanings of fidelity in marriage:

There is only you and I who may enjoy the breath of this moment to only enjoy the invitations of the past which have evaded my previous generation.

There is only this time whereby we are able to see the future, experience the present, and remember the past.

There is only on this occasion that two hearts are able to resemble their embodied and established commitment from seasons past.

There is only now that I may meet your "I Do" with the equivalent of love, a cherished character, and the fulfillment of living a life through the eyes of your expectations.

There is only now that I am able to hear the bells of an opportunity to relish the moment, rear our children, and appreciate the birth of your aspirations.

There is only now that I am able to forget about the past regrets, remarks, and renditions of hurt which were reflected beyond the portrait of peace.

There is only now that I am able to offer a hand of strength; embrace your heart's desire; perceive the pain in your eyes. For not any would be possible without the dereliction of courage in my failures and the encompassed loneliness of a shipwrecked sailor along the island of abandoned dreams.

There is only now that I am able to view those stagnant fears which are now eclipsed by the insurmountable power of faith to love, faith to live, and faith to prosper.

There is only you and I in this reality whereby the fantasy of retirement from secular on-goings has been forged into more of the reality of ministry. We cherish a ministry to each other and them who have been placed within our life's path.

There is only here that I am able to appreciate that which I have passionately deferred for years.

There is only you and I which has earned the right to share in a foundation. I have, earnestly, built it beyond the barrage of other's doubt and disbelief in the power of God to equip His anointed follower.

There is only you and I which has earned the right to live within the aspirations of two and all the familiar little ones to follow.

There is only you and I whose eyes are able to envision the knock of possibility.

Why is it that you yearn for more, but yet seek less? Why is it that you want the bold and beautiful, and, yet, are not able to sacrifice the love required to support either?

Many are without, as few are those who acquire more of anything to include love. They shall possess with surety when, and where, their last source has been disposed.

To fervently address the issue of What is the meaning of marriage,' one may consider the following earnest petition:

Divine Creator,

Thank you for the ability to claim and exist with the partner who would help and not hinder our efforts; to receive with gladness the fruit which is brought forth in discovery; to accentuate the emotions of one moment for a future cause; as well as to grow in the arms, memories, and admirations of another until the tomorrows when time ceases to exist. God, bring the designated partner forth in season, and in time, to bear a household worthy of our love with great power and an exceeding joy. Help us to enjoy and embrace the fullness of marriage.
