The stages of marriage can be seen through the varying degrees of romance experienced. The stages of marriage correlate with the levels of romance which are exhibited before and during the marriage proceedings. The following narrative illustrates the marriage cycle as romance is expressed:

The romance before mentioned prior to the "I do" of any matrimony

Romantic rendezvous within your arms and under the light of a slow burning candle is nice and, of course, highly desired.

Romantic rendezvous under the bridge and in the rain to enjoy 1 picnic blanket; 2 hand-made sandwiches, slices of cheese cake, and glasses of merlot; 3 love songs to paint the mood; 4 soft kisses and their accompanying embraces; 5 moments to laugh so that the heat of our loins is reduced from a boil down to a simmer; 6 thinking of you thoughts to start the fire all over again; 7 roses for every day of the week which I thank God for you is nice and, of course, highly desired.

Romantic rendezvous during the midnight hour along the beach with a whisper of I love you with every step that the stars shine in your eyes; the moonlight is captured in your hair; a request is rendered to rub your feet; a bare back ride followed by a bare neck kiss is nice and, of course, highly desired.

The romance, after the fact, of the honey moon period

Romantic rendezvous of no avail when arguments persist without mediation and suffer the force of a slammed shut communication door, refrigerator door, and sexual references door is lemons and, of course, highly discouraged.

Romantic rendezvous delayed, but not denied, after the biological time has approached or the business travel has remained in place. For any of the similar obstructions can lead to concealment, separations, and discontentment if not vehemently understood and they are limes which, of course, we permit and regulate out of love for one another.

Romantic rendezvous cancelled as the reservoir has not been replenished and is no longer an attractive watering hole, as a result of a lack of discipline in weight management and, either, personal or professional development.

Who is it that would be expected to contend with lack of efforts, care, or concerns when a similar fruit can be picked from another tree?

The rationale for growing together in love is highly desirable. Give to each other the elements of consideration and contemplation to avoid tangerine romance which, of course, can hinder marital development.
