We have a garden every year outside. But before the plants can go outside, you must start them inside. I am going to tell you how to do that with out hurting the plant. First off, let's go over the items you will need to start your seeds inside.

You will need potting soil, a container large enough to hold the plants until they are ready to go outside that also has a good drainage system, and of course water as well as miracle gro. Miracle gro is the best way to give your plants the nutrients that they need. The first thing you will want to do is find a place in your home that is suitable for starting your seeds.

Near a window would work wonderfully. If you do not have any open window space, just be sure to put your plants in a low traffic area in your home. Then provide the proper lighting. When you get started, you will want to dampen the soil and make sure that is loose.

Also keep in mind that if your are starting your plants inside to start them a few weeks before the last frost date. Once your soil is damp and loose, you will put your seeds at least an inch under the soil. Then you must give them water that has miracle gro in it. You only want to do this about once every two weeks.

Keep the temperature in the room where you are starting your plants between sixty-five and seventy-five degrees Fahrenheit. If the room is too hot it can damage the plants. But if it is too cold, it can cause the plant's leaves to turn yellow and fall off. When watering yout plants, use distilled water and make sure that it is room temperature so as not to shock the plants and cause them to die.

Distilled water has better nutrients for plants than tap water would have. You must make sure to water your plants at least once a week. Continue to grow your plants like this until the first week of May. In the first week of May, it will then be safe to move your plants outside to grow to their full potential.

Starting them inside just gives the plants a better probability of surviving before they move on to the next stage. Once outside, you want to use all natural methods of keeping bugs and weeds away. Especially if you want your plants to come up right. That is all I have for you today. I hope that this helped you to start to grow your plants.
