WHO IS PROGRAMMING YOUR BRAIN?
Our brain is like a computer, and it is being programmed day by day by one of two systems. By the cosmic system, which promotes Satanic viewpoint, or by God's viewpoint which is revealed to the Christian through daily exposure to Bible Doctrine.
We are all being bombarded every day with Satanic viewpoint that comes to us through every kind of media this world has to offer. In 1 Corinthians 2:14, the apostle Paul tells us that the Bible, Gods viewpoint, is foolishness to the unbeliever, so the world's thinking is all he can receive. However, if a person believes in the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior, he will become a Christian and will be able to understand Divine viewpoint. As a Christian, he will be faced with two choices he may either make a free-will decision to learn TRUTH and desire to grow up spiritually, or he may embrace RELIGION as a substitute for Bible Doctrine and spend his life doing things that he thinks will please God, and he will get the credit. If the believer is positive toward Gods truth, God will provide for him a prepared pastor/teacher and will be able to help that believer grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord. CHRISTIANITY is God the Holy Spirit working through individual believers for the purpose of glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ. In Christianity, God does ALL the work, and He gets all the glory.
The apostle Paul wrote in Romans 12:2: "Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so you may prove what is the good, acceptable and perfect will of God.
Satan is the god of this world, and he blinds the minds of unbelievers in order to keep the light of the Gospel from shining unto them. (2 Corinthians 4:4) As we learn Biblical truth, we will see that the whole world lies in the wicked one, who is Satan. (1 John 5:19)
The believer's life is a battleground, but his warfare is not against flesh and blood enemies, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. (Ephesians 6:12) Knowing, believing and applying the Word of God will serve as our weapons and only protection against those enemies. (Ephesians 6:13-17)
As a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, we must realize that the Bible is the mind or thinking of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:16) If we expose ourselves to Bible Doctrine on a daily basis and let the Word of God program our brain, we will learn to distinguish the difference between true and false teaching, and eventually be able to look at every situation in life from God's viewpoint.
