I watch a lot of movies, so picking my top 10 movie quotes was very hard to do! There are so many ... but I finally narrowed it down and here are my picks.

Impact it had on me: I've had a lot of traumatic things happen in my life that I choose to block out ... I think it's selective amnesia or something like that!

Context in the movie: Dean (Kurt Russell) said this to Annie (Goldie Hawn) when she was complaining about the closet he had built for her, telling him he had not done the job according to her specifications.
Impact it had on me: This line reminds me that it's always a good idea to be clear when making requests of others. A lot of misunderstanding could be avoided if we would just take the time to review what we've said and make sure the other person understands things exactly as we want them to.

But as her love grows for Johnny, she starts to spread her wings and be her own person and stands up for who, and what, she believes in.
Impact it had on me: I have always wanted someone to back me up and stand up for me like that.
