The negative side of the Internet

unwanted people, you just have to put them into practice.

5. Personal Information Revealed- Your personal information is all over the internet. You don't even have to put it there. From name, address and phone number to photos and videos, your personal information may be readily available to anyone who chooses to find it.

6. Pop-up Ads- These are just plain annoying. You are sitting there minding your own internet business when this thing pops up in front of your face. You don't want it there and it interrupts what you were doing. They sometimes even take the page away that you were looking at.

7. Misinformation- You have to be leery of the information that you find on the internet. Be sure that you are in a site that is reputable. This especially holds true for information pertaining to medical conditions. It's alright to look for the information. There is good information out there. You probably don't want to look for important information on a Wiki. Find a site such as comes from a foundation or is geared toward proper information from professional in that field. You will get information that is much more accurate and it could save you a lot of trouble in the end.

8. Spam- There are ways to avoid getting spam, but it still keeps coming. Spam is that annoying stuff that comes into your email inbox telling you that you have won a million dollars or a new laptop. Nigeria seems to have a great number of lotteries that go on and many people have died and had no one to leave their money to. Spam is one of the number one annoyances that you will find living in your computer. Things like junk mail and spam blockers make it a little easier to deal with but look out, they are still there.

The internet truly does have wonderful things about it. Most people would opt to use it no matter what is waiting there for them. It's an addictive pastime. If you are careful and use your software and preventive measures, your internet experience will be a much more pleasant thing.
