The answer is of coarse the conservatives. Listen to any liberal be they pundit or politician and everything out of their mouths is doom and gloom. There are countless examples throughout the last century, and I will flesh some of them out shortly. On the other side of the idealistic coin, the conservatives are the most optimistic people in our country. Their legislative agenda reflects their world view.

The happiest of them all has every reason to be. Many of us conservatives are grounded by faith in God and the joy that it brings. The belief that the United States is the greatest country on the planet, and the support of our families. We know the that the smaller the government gets the happier the citizen.  A prime example of this was the roaring twenties. The income tax rate was lowered and the size of government was halved. The unemployment rate reached one percent which was the lowest ever in peace time. Telephones became commonplace. Motion pictures entered its golden age, and Mickey Mouse debut. You see conservative principles can make everyone happier. Ronald Reagen said the ten scariest words in the English language was " I am from the government and I'm here to help" No truer words have ever been spoken.

Now I could not write and not mention our friends on the left. They are one of the most angry groups of people I have ever seen, and I have been to a Pantera/White Zombie show. Their hatred of George W. Bush was pure white hot. They made a film about the assassination of president Bush. The senate majority leader Harry Reed actually declared the surge was lost the war was over several months before full operational deployment. We all know what happened when they reached that number, it worked Al-Queda in Iraq destroyed top to bottom. Those cheerful folks over at Moveon.org placed that "general betray us" ad in the New York Times. It might have given them a chuckle for a bit ,but that made hundreds of thousands of our military very unhappy. President Obama's chief of staff is on tape saying "never let a crisis go to waste" Whats so happy about a crisis? Every time the president talks about the economy , my wallet hurts which makes me unhappy. Now that  the tax portion of "Obamacare" is here , the benefit portion doesn't even kick in until twenty fourteen.  I can predict with certainty that the first tuesday in November twenty-ten and twenty-twelve will be sad days for liberals.
