Writing online and getting paid for our work is very difficult. We struggle to find a website which pays members the right money rather than pennies which we could actually pick out from our moneybox or our own pockets! It takes so much longer to reach a payout. Believe it or not, some members of other writing sites have complained that by participating for over a year has not rewarded them with reaching the payouts. But the website I have written about here does so much more for its writers and writing online cannot be much easier than expected.

On November 22nd 2008, I joined a website called Bukisa.com and I was very impressed. They promise to pay you based upon the Bukisa index which is $3.72 at the moment (March). In November, it was $4.20! It changes often and I am proud to write about this website!

The website also allows you to create informative content such as video, articles and slide show presentations. An upcoming photo section is arriving soon which adds to more good news.

If you would like to submit content, don't be discouraged because your work, similar to Helium.com allows you to publish it immediately.

There are a range of different categories you can write for. But creative writers might be a little disappointed because Bukisa have not yet allowed a Creative Writing category.

However, they shall not get disheartened because I had suggested the category on the member feedback section where members and visitors can suggest anything they want. The suggestions are then taken into consideration but let me tell you that not all of the suggestions are accepted. I had also suggested twice for upfront payments but they had declined them. But I think paying members nearly $4 for 1000 page views is enough. We do not need to demand for higher payments. The site is doing us a favour by paying more than any other writing site on the internet! The Creative Writing category is under review which means that they are looking at it.

I have nearly 200 poems and it would be mind blowing to see them all making me money.

If you refer people, they are found on your network and you can earn when they submit work as well. This goes up to three levels. If those people refer more people and so on, you could earn from all those people that have been referred which would result in you making a huge income on this site!

Since I joined, I have made a total of $11.43! I am willing to continue writing on this site as it looks really good and worth your time!

The site has also improved a lot since November. They now allow you to see how much an article is earning. Usually, on a site like Triond.com, the page views need to hit around 5-10 for a cent, but here we only need one around 2 page views which is so much more acceptable.
