When you're in your twenties and your career is on the roll, having children is just a vague idea of what your life is going to be later. You know that after you achieve certain goals there will be time to consider having a baby and you will think about it very carefully-when the time is right..
And then, not knowing when exactly, your thirties hit you on your back! Somewhere on the way you managed to meet your other ( not necessarily better! ) half, you even found some time to get married. It's all been so perfect! Weekend escapes from the city, great long holidays, romantic evenings you two shared together. But eventually you're starting to feel that something is missing. " How much longer can it be just the two of us?"-you wonder. It might as well get boring!
So YES! Let's have a baby!
Before you're even pregnant you know what your children's names would be.You notice how lovely the tiny outfits are,you could spend hours in baby shops, choosing nursery furniture and wallpaper designs. You picture yourself playing with your little one and having wonderful, quality family time. You see yourself rocking your baby to sleep...And you just cannot wait...
There are also times when you're seriously worried. You ask yourself a thousand questions and you're nowhere near to finding the answers. Are we really such a good couple that we're considering having a baby? What if we're not great parents? What if our apartment is too small? Where would all the toys go? It is nothing but natural to be worried!
Starting a family is a very exciting step but it can also be very scary! Try to plan as much as you can before your baby arrives, you will have very little time left later and no energy at all!
If you are worried that you're not a CHILD PERSON-don't worry! It might not be easy for you to be around children in general but once you have your own little darling you will know how to handle a situation the right way.
FINANCIAL STABILITY is the key to your peace of mind. Of course you must realise that you will not be able to work for several months and if you're not feeling well you might have to stop working much earlier than you have actually planned to.Having a baby is quite expensive nowadays especially that you keep finding all those gorgeous baby stuff you didn't know existed and you're sure your little one just won't do without!
Once you decide you want to go back to work there will be childcare fees to pay.No matter what you choose-a nanny or a nursery-they all are quite expensive and
