Arkansas is known as the Natural State. That being said, there are a lot of rural areas in Arkansas. But it is not without some nice sized cities such as Little Rock, Ft. Smith, Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers and Conway.

Little Rock is the state Capital of Arkansas and is the largest populated city in the State. There are a lot of professional singles here and a lively night life with lots of things to do and see.

Fayetteville is a great place for singles to live as it is home of the University of Arkansas and has a large single population. There are also a lot of nice places to meet singles and places to take a date. Springdale and Rogers is close to Fayetteville, adding more singles to the mix in that area. It's located in the beautiful Ozarks with a plethora of outdoor activities to enjoy.

Fayetteville is a progressive town, and the community here is very "green" minded and concerned with recycling and ecology. According to City Data.com Fayetteville is comprised of approximately that same ratio of men and women. The median age is about 27. It's a beautiful town with malls, shopping, eateries of all kinds, parks and, of course, the University. There is also a major airport. Forbes Magazine's ranked Fayetteville #8 in the Top 10 Best Places in America for Business and Careers.

That is not to say that the largely populated areas are the only places to live for singles in Arkansas. Some of the smaller communities such as Eureka Springs are quite charming. Eureka Springs is an art community with lots of music, clubs, restaurants and historical sights. There are many smaller cities in Arkansas that boast of their sense of community .. a great place to settle down, get married and raise a family.

Each city has it's unique qualities, but all of Arkansas is full of nature's beauty. If you want to meet other singles that love the great outdoors, there are so many adventures here it would take a life time to explore them all. Arkansas has many lakes, rivers, hiking and biking trails, caves and natural wonders. It is a very scenic state, and there are clubs that get together to bike, motorcycle, go caving, hiking, canoing and kayaking. A great way to meet other like minded singles and have a great time.

Arkansas offers the best of two worlds, the night life in the more populated cities and all the fantastic outdoor activities. From romantic gourmet cuisines to cooking over a campfire on a mountain top.
