The sun is shiningthe birds are chirpingthe flowers are blooming. Yes, Spring is here! A season when the breeze caresses your cheeks, when animals emerge from long months of hibernation and when ladies re-do their wardrobes with a whole set of new colors. Gone with the dull neutral shades of brown, black and grey, and in with the eye-popping colors.

Parting with winter clothing can get emotional at times. That fur coat, those glamorous boots, and the cardigan that really shows off your dcolletage, but after learning to splash some color into your life, you'll be racing to the nearest store to fill up your closet with shades of pink, green, and yellow!

Spring beauty colors are mostly about striking the right color combinations. Going in sunny yellow with some orange here and there, and scarlet lipstick would be perfect for a day out. If it's casual you want, using lime green and denim might prove a good option. And ladies, make heads turn by combining hot shades of pink with innocent white for the all-out girlish look. Gentlemen, go for a slightly less bright pink tone and pair it up with black. It's a shame how most of the masculine party seems to shun pink for its girly stigma.

Some occasions call for more than just outfits. You need style. Glamour. And just a little bit of spunk. Bring back the winter goddess look, but instead of being shrouded in typical winter shades and LBDs, illuminate yourself in ice blue. Brush on the same color on your eyes and you are ready to go to the ball and make jaws drop. On the other hand, purple too has been known to be the color of royalty. Experiment with aubergine, plum, periwinkle for the formal spring look. Jewel-toned colors like emerald green and sapphire blue are sure favorites on this year's Formal spring up-do. For the bold among you, go out in fire-engine red, coupled with any suitable shade. Red is just one of those timeless colors that works in any season, any gender, any time!

I don't know readers if you are aware or not, but from where I come from, when spring arrives young girls don vibrant shades of green and soft yellow, whereas the lads sport the yellowest yellow scarves on their necks before the festivities begin. Spring doesn't just come here, it's celebrated!
