Poetry: Fraud

"Fraud"

Cold mood-ring; grayish green
You show face clean
But I see the ugly stain
Burrowed just below surface.
Never a secret has remained
By pretending.

A silent world watched what you did.
Your salty morrows spat
Upon sacred.
Disdained love
For all to pick apart, like scabs.
You littered our walkway with neglect and hate.
Left open my heart
To bleed
Skipped beats,
For no one else but myself.

Wide eyed,
But foolish me
You said, "I"
Was your only, "Gypsy Rose Lee."
And I, thought you
A mere, "Pushkin flunky,"
Not bare enough
To witness.

My mistakes, how they stand;
Those carved up scars demand attention.
Like dirty homeruns,
And hookers,
And...
Still-life-art in the 70's.

Just bait,
I was to you.
While you still lie,
And procreate
To my ill fate, you drink and dance
And masturbate.

I was only your file
Marked,
'"Ten Year Plan."
And you,
This, "Pushkin flunky,"
Wicked savvy,
Fraud
Of man.
