Starting Programming
What Programming language to start with? Good Question. For the past twenty years programmers have not suffered from unemployment as professionals in other fields of work. When you master programming, you can enjoy it; also it is rewarding financially. This article is for anybody who is computer literate (knows how to use the computer).
Preamble
Programming fundamentally involves logic. In the strict sense programming does not involve serious mathematics as you may be thinking. One of the reasons why many people shy away from programming is because they are afraid of the mathematics they imagine is involved with it. I explain all that in this article in simple terms. You do not need to do any formal course in logic in order to understand programming or write programs. However, in the course of learning programming, you learn any logic necessary. By the word, Logic, I am referring just to logical-reasoning.
HTML if the programming language used in producing web pages (web sites). XHTML is like the latest version of HTML. If you already know how to use a word processor, such as Microsoft Word, it means you can produce a page. A web page looks like a page you have produced in you word processor. After knowing how to produce a page with your word processor, a good thing to learn next is XHTML, in order to produce web pages.
XHTML involves logic; in fact very little compared to other programs. Again, by the word, Logic, I am referring just to logical-reasoning; there is no big deal there. You do not need to do any course on logic in order to understand XHTML. You do not need middle school math (British GCSE mathematics) in order to understand XHTML. All the mathematical skill you need is that of the elementary school (before middle school). If you think this is a joke, all you have to do is to start learning XHTML from the series I have at Helium. The first part of the series is Getting Started with XHTML. From there you continue with the series. My name is Chrys. To arrive at the first article of the series, just type, "Getting Started with XHTML, Chrys" in the Search Box of Helium.com and click Search. You can also get this my tutorial series from elsewhere in the Internet.
Meaning of Interpreter and Compiler
A program just written is a junk of text, understood only by programmers. If the ordinary person looks at the text, he would be able to identify a lot of words in the text, but he would not really understand what the whole text does. Learning
