Thoughts on Liberty and Freedom
President Obama has done something wonderful for this country. And please, before there's any snickering, hear me out. He has energized an otherwise enervated political body. This country of ours has been seething for years under the burden of an outrageous and out-of-control government. It's time for the citizens of this great Nation to stand together and take it back.
There is something that we should not let happen. We should not turn this debate into Democrat versus Republican, Left versus Right, Liberal versus Conservative, or Us versus Them. We are all Americans. The message that we should bespeak is this: That government is out-of-control. And the question we need to ask is this: How do we turn back the tide of oppressive taxation, deceitful and lying politicians, and the moral dilemma, the morass that has been infiltrating our lives and holding us captive like prisoners and slaves?
