The season that brings with it a renewal of life is spring and in fashion this year's spring colors are bursting with zest and enthusiasm. Designers have brought a renewed sense of fun and optimism with their spring 2009 fashion palette that bursts with vibrant colors and pops with energy while complimenting more natural, nude neutrals that keep us stable and grounded.

The Top 10 picks according to Pantone, the world's most widely recognized fashion color report are:

. Super Lemon, zesty and full of life. It is the perfect color to bring out friendly smiles and optimistic attitudes. This tangy citron catches the eye and promotes a more fun and playful feeling. Definitely a lift we could all use in such difficult times.

. Palace Blue is here with an almost classic navy quality. Pair it with any of the new collection of colors to create a crisp and contemporary look.

. Fall 2008 saw us with mystical deep purple. spring 2009 sees us donning Lavender as it steps forward with a softer, more whimsical and romantic inspiration.

. Green is the color of life and rebirth. Three greens are on the spectrum for spring:

- Vibrant green reaches out to us with the reawakening after a long winter dormancy.

- Dark Citron is subtle and sophisticated pairing perfectly with the new lemon tones.

- Lucite Green is crisp but soft with a tinge of luster and sparkle.

. Still want something sexy and sensual yet vibrant and alive? Fushia Red slinks its way into the mix with its blue undertones and nudges us with a wink of elegance. Lipstick and nails are being adorned with this vivacious and brilliant color.
