This is such a difficult question for me to answer, YES! President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank and many more are forgetting what made this country great, Capitalism. But the problem stems from the original movie, "The Day The Earth Stood Still." The great quote I remember from the movie was; "power corrupts, but absolute power corrupts absolutely."

That quote epitomises our problem today. With control of the Presidency, the Senate and the House of Representatives the Democrats nearly have absolute power. Only the Supreme Court can intervene, but they cannot have a say in everything. The Democrats are almost as close to absolute power as you can get in our great country, if the Supreme Court was Liberal the Democrats would never be able to be stopped.

The Democrats (and a few Republicans) have forgotten what they were elected to do. They are supposed to work for the people, that's us. When they get to Washington they seem to forget why they were elected. Nancy Pelosi wants to go green but she loves to spend our money. The Speaker of the House of Representatives now has her own plane (actually WE own it) that takes her from Washington to San Francisco and back, every week the House is in session.

Why not, it only costs the citizens $60,000 for each trip. Mrs. Pelosi, like most in our service is a multi-millionaire. Can you name a politician that is not a millionaire? These always seem to be the people that want to help the poor, but do they?

The mortgage crisis is a terrible thing but who really is responsible for it? Barney Frank (in the House) and Chris Dodd (in the Senate) pushed the legislation through and President Bush was forced (maybe) to sign it. Now who is enraged at the mortgage crisis? Of course it's Dodd and Frank. They helped people that couldn't afford their mortgage to get one so they could buy a house. Hey guys, that house in now in foreclosure.

The President is trying to pay back union leaders that helped get him elected by taking away union members privacy in voting (that has now failed) Obama consistently wants income-tax cheats on his staff. He already had Charles Rangle in place, now he can't seem to find enough tax cheaters to fill positions. Does this make you wonder about The Presidents tax situation?

It seems that too many Democrats truly love the printing presses that print our currency but they hate to their pay taxes. Evidently they are crooks that do not understand economics. Sure things got out of hand due to Republicans and Democrats, but you don't just throw money at everything to fix it. "The New Deal" is an excellent example.

The Democrats are truly out of control (did you say trillions) and I honestly believe our President is a very intelligent man. The question is; is President Obama book smart on the wrong subjects?
