Time in a Bottle
What is it the makes the clock tick?
Or created a wax puddle underneath the candle stick.
It waits for no man
It waits for no child
It asunders existence like an angry crocidile.
Time looks and creeps at every moment we take.
Whether we are sleeping or wide awake.
It lurks in the shadows like an unseen killer.
Waiting and waiting for a wild heart thriller.
There it goes again.
Even as I write.
I'll try to stay calm as day turns to night.
We can scream or exclaim that "it isn't really fair"
That good moments go by and it doesn't really care.
The essence of time conflicts our emotion
Like the bombardment of waves of a heart-broken ocean.
Hear what I say and please don't debate.
(whisper) Live your whole life, before it is to late...
