I believe teens should have a curfew, because parents should not let there kids just run wild all hours of the night. There could be some exceptions about extending an active curfew time for maybe a party, as long as there is adult supervision. A curfew was made to keep kids out of trouble and safe from the dark shadowy figures of night. And if your teens curfew is one or two in the morning, then why even set one? Thats the time teens are most active to drink and, or do drugs.

Me as a former teen, i am thirteen years old. I have been exposed to alcohol. Some of my friends and kids in my school do drugs, some even transport from family to the high school. ok, now to get back to subject. An early curfew helps in school. Teens especially need a good sleep. All they have going on in school. My point of view is that if you want your teen to have a bright future, thy need a curfew. I'm not saying that not having a curfew will result in a disturbed future. I'm just saying a late curfew or even no curfew won't help.

This is my point as a citizen of the teen world and a human being. I believe that teens should have a curfew and nothing could change my mind. I hope this helps fellow parents. Please make the right decision on this, because your teen goes through very hard times trust me. I am in one right now! The teen heart is emotional and setting a curfew will take the stress away and decrease the chance of getting your teen caught up in drugs or alcohol. Not to get off topic , but getting your teen associated with a school sport or after school activity will keep them busy and focused. As well as fit and i n shape. And being in shape and a healthy weight will decrease stress also.

That's why I believe that teens should have a curfew. i hope this article helps in the debate. And kids should be entitled to a curfew or a bedtime, parents don't let your child's life slip from your control please! Because if that happens there will be a lot of clean up afterwards. And I'm sorry if I'm making the teen stage for a kid sounds scary, but I'm just trying to prepare you for the worst. I'm not saying this happens alot, but if it does then your prepared. so set a curfew for your kid that is early but reasonable for the kids social life and activities. Make sure they get a good sleep and stay on top of them about there educational introduction towards life. And make sure to talk to your teen/teens daily about there life. Like about drugs, alcohol, sex, ect.
