Reflections of a beautiful day,
Reflections of Spring on its way.
Reflections that the sky is so blue,
Reflections on being so true.
Are you true?
Do you reflect upon the truth?
Listen,
And think about the things we reflect upon.
Reflections and thinking thoughts,
Of what was and what is to become.
Come, let us talk.
Come, let us walk.
Reflecting upon the matters,
For which the latter,
Thinks of the former,
Performer.
Is it getting warmer,
Yet?
Reflections - is it May,
Yet?
Reflections - oh it's still gray
And wet,
Outside.
Listen,
The birds are chirping now,
Through the snow we plough.
In the last bit of snow,
I hear the cat's meow.
The last storm makes way,
For the sunshine of tomorrow.
And the children will play,
Hey,
They,
Are having fun.
Just reflect on the small things that exist,
Amidst,
The big distractions.
The birds are singing now.
And I'm reflecting upon the warmth,
That is just around the corner.
Do you reflect?
Reflections of hope and growth,
Reflections of blossoms and hues,
Of color,
The botanicals of Spring.
What will they bring?
Aromas of pleasantries and scents of distinction,
On the heals of the wintery extinction,
By the dawning of this new season.
Reflections of Spring.
