Because of God I am here today

I thank the Lord in every way

Because I could have been dead and gone

But he kept me holdin on

When the doctors said there was no chance

My mama knew that they didn't know the man

They must not have known who she believed in

She had a father, a protector, and a friend

With very little medical chances I pulled through

Look at what God can do

Now I am growing into a woman, finding my way

And I just wanted to take this time to say

Thank You God for everything

Thank You God, your grace is amazing

Thank You God for your son

Thank You God for everything you have done

Thank You for the good times and bad

Thank You for this life I've had

Thank You for just be you

Thank You God for everything you do
