Increasing your profits while mining requires tactics and a high mining level. In this article you will find a range of tips, which will help you maximize your earnings as a miner and other great tips.

The fastest way to mine iron is at the varrock mining place right outside of Al Kharid. Many people think that Al-Kharid mining place is the fastest place to mine iron, but this isn't true. The fastest place is actually Varrock and will make you a lot of money because iron sells for 100 gp each.

The fastest place to mine coal is the mining guild in falador. You can quickly mine coal, mithril and adamant at the mining guild. To be a rich miner, you must mine at the mining guild.

Miners can make a lot more money if they smelt their ores as well. If you are a great miner, try to get your smith level up as well. You can then smelt steel bars and sell them for 600 gp each which is a lot of money

Miners are one of the richest types of workers in runescape. Rune ore can be mined in the wilderness. Bring a person who can carry the runite ore for you so if you get killed you won't lose your rune ore. Runite ore sells for 15k each ore!

Great miners are also aware of their surroundings. If you have a lot of great miners around you, then you will save a lot of time if you switch the world. Because a lot of people don't like to give their rocks away, and if they are higher level then it will be a problem for you.

If you only want to increase your mining level, then the best way is to mine iron in the Al-Kharid mining spot and drop the iron you mine. Keep dropping the iron ore until you reach the mining level you want to reach.

Try to make your adamant ore into bars before selling them to make more money.

Mining requires a lot of time. Set aside some runescape time for power level mining. This means that only mining without collecting ores. In power levelling you empty your inventory and give it to someone else and then keep mining.

If you are not a great miner, then you can simply collect the ores from mining places. People drop a lot of ores and you should pick it up, especially if it is mithril or more expensive ore .
