We've run
From the last stand
We've flown
From the sacred land
By the hand of the blue eyed band
Wounded world by the knee
I can hear the screaming
Last grasp of breath, I'm reaching
Winter has covered the sun
Sweet trails of light leaving
The sound of their guns
Shot through the heart, frozen in time
Snow has fallen and covered my eyes
My life lies bleeding
As the soldiers ride by
The wind stands grieving
With the souls of my tribe
Burn my body and bury my heart
Where my family fell
The songs are over
No stories left to tell
Scatter the ashes
We'll never survive on our knees
Gather the horses, the world is wounded
The wind stands ready to leave
So scatter the ashes
Over the Earth and trees
Gather the horses
The wind stands ready for me

Songs: The wind
The wind blows cold
I lay awake here
My heart is breakin'
My bed is cold
All I can hear
Is your voice cryin'
Oh darlin' dear
I'm

Wind-Song
Can you hear the melody
That's whispered in the wind
Does it echo in your heart
As it blows by again
Is it just a simple
Every time the wind blows,
I see your face, bright eyed in my mind,
In every whisper, I hear your name,
Why did you
