This is our Goodbye
This will be our last time together
This is our goodbye
Let's just shake hands one last time
And move on with our lives.
This is the last time we stand face to face
This is our goodbye
This is the last time we'll look deep
Into each other's eyes.
This is the last time I'll think of you
This is our goodbye
I hope we can erase our past
And not cross each other's minds.
This is the last poem I'll write to you
This is our goodbye
Let's never show feelings for each other
At any future time.
This is the last time I'll watch you leave
There's no more you and I
You said forever, but I knew better
So this is our goodbye.

the loneliness becomes apparent
