A lonely heart~
The loneliness I feel in my heart is true
Always alone, nobody to come home to
The pictures in my head drive me mad
The holes in my heart make me sad
Always to fear what I have to face
Never knowing what I need to do
Wanting my life at a normal pace
I wish I could see, I wish I knew.
No strength to carry me to the next day
Down hill my life goes, that's what I pay
Pick myself up, I have to last
Put away my sorrow, put away my past
Look to the future, it can be bright
I see my options as day grows night
I need a friend for loneliness no more
Let the feelings go and watch them soar

She's Gone, But Not Forgotten
She's gone but not forgotten, and I'm at home here, all alone.

"Emptiness"
Lying here waiting
Thoughts churning in my head
Painstakingly turning

Cigarette burns low
The neighbors phone rings off the hook

My Own Arms
Here inside four walls
resting in my chair
I turn to say I love you
knowing you're not there.
I took for granted
They flow in pairs
they walk in light
I sit alone
in a cold, dark night
I call out
but my cries lack sound
I have no voice
no words
