Yes there should be regulations to tell companies that they need to be mindful of what their waste does to the world. Since there is an increase in temperature of this world there must be a reaction by the humans of this planet to make a correction in the daily activities to see if there is a reaction by the earth. Let alone the global warming aspect of it all, there is simply a responsibility by everyone to take a little better care of this home we call earth. Much of this type of thing seems to come about because either no one pays attention or no one cares. I would hope it's not that no one cares and I don't think that it is.
Regulations remind and at times force companies to be a little more conscious and careful not to affect the earth so much. We saw this as companies were dumping into rivers years ago and the government basically said to cut it out. Very simply stated here, but then there was an effort to clean up the mess that had been made by so many plants. It seems to be the same here. There is a problem that needs to be addressed and there is a call for action. It seems a shame that it takes regulations to have people respond.
But the question seems to go farther than even global warming. Why have we humans felt it has been OK to pollute the air, ground, water, and streets we live around? Even the littering of roadways, city streets, and playgrounds is very sad. It makes me wonder, at times when I have carelessly littered myself, about whether I care or not. I have been more careful and mindful not to litter because I feel it is just wrong. Why would any of us want to live around trash or take away the beauty of our surroundings.
This is not only corporations that need to make change but also the people that live on this earth. It should be treated like the home it is meant to be. And since a home should be treated with the respect it deserves. It's almost as if each generation does not care what is handed to the next generation. Often there are neighborhoods that have nice house and kept lawns because each family wants the area to look good and be cared for. It seems that if every person took a little bit of care regarding this earth, and companies took responsibility in being as clean as possible, a huge difference would be made not only in and around the streets, but through the air and water as well. And perhaps the globe could them also cool down just enough.
