I'm trapped in a spider's web surrounded by connection threads; some are laced with dew like jewels, other laced with flies and fools. The spider wraps me in his lies, so now I resemble the flies.
I love one who glistens and glows, but the the spider drags me to where darkness grows.
It's all connected - good and evil, and this web connects so many people. With his lie he killed me and left my shell; he dragged me down to suffer in hell.
I see my love shining bright in the sun, as the spider creeps away...knowing he's won.

Cross your heart,
And hope to lie.
Truths be told,
Then people cry.
Mix them up,
And tell me which is which.
Then within
Lies, lies, fingers in pies
You just can't admit it, your high as a kite
Your bubbling and brooding will get you nowhere

Something did
I should
But I don't regret it

I just know you were winkng
at the girl all dressed in
