Reminisce
I need a woman draped in conviction
Wrapped in clothes of love
Who thinks in colors, ideal and splendid
Who has faith in God above
I need a woman artistic as a dancer
Elegant and graceful
Who moves in rhythm with my music
Who's sophisticated and tasteful
I need a woman with a lofty vision
Dressed in colors true
Who knows in time we'll replace our blank canvass
With a picture made by two
I need a woman expressive as a painter
Creative and aware
Revealing all that's beautiful
Intuitive and sincere
But there's no depth to my perceptions
Dreams torment my reality
Still, I scoff at ultimate wisdom
And drown myself in her sea
It was a cold dark dreary night
When I woke to loneliness
The thrill is gone, but all's not lost
My delusions and I reminisce
Maybe you could make my dreams come true
With one tiny little kiss
My delusions and I reminisce
My delusions and I reminisce
I need a woman who uncovers me
Complexities and all
Who sees my desire, adds fuel to the fire
Who wont let things get too dull
I need a woman rambunctious and wild
Instinctive and in control
Who moves in time with my mellow rhythm
Who gives herself, heart and soul
But there's no truth in my perceptions
Dreams play on my psychology
Still, I laugh at ultimate wisdom
And lose myself in her sea
It was a bright warm sunny day
When I woke to loneliness
The thrill is gone but not forgotten
My delusions and I reminisce
Maybe you could end this crazy dream
With one tiny little kiss
My delusions and I reminisce
Lie to me and tell me
All those things I can't resist
My delusions and I reminisce
My delusions and I reminisce
I need a woman draped in conviction
I need a woman true
Strange that it just dawned on me
That this woman could be you
My delusions and I reminisce
I need a woman with a lofty vision
Who will not leave me blue
Strange that it just dawned on me
That this woman could be you
My delusions and I reminisce
My delusions and I reminisce
