Revelation 14> The Three Angels

Imagine standing on the earth and looking upward to see three angels circling the earth and each spreading their own message. The first angel circled the earth and was proclaiming "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his kingdom has come. Worship God who made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the springs of water."

Don't you think that this angels was telling the people of earth to get ready for God. The children of God must have felt peace, joy, and excitement that God was coming. To me I bet the children of the beast were feeling horror- such terror that God was coming to earth to spread His Good News. In the upcoming chapters of Revelation God does alot of things to the children of the beast just to get them to repent. Which they don't. To show them that the beast wouldn't be there for them-to show them when the toughs times come the beast goes a running.

The children of the beast mus have got mad that God was coming to challenge their way of life. They must not have wanted God to come. They must have thought that the beast was in charge. Which they were sadly mistaking!

The second angel came to earth to proclaim "Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great; which made all nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries."

To me this is saying to the people that Babylon has fallen and they have a choice to make. The choices are that God's kingdom has come. Are they going to stay with Babylon and drink that corrupt wine? Are they going to be destroyed being the child of the beast? Or are they going to choose to open their eyes and repent to God?

Some people choose to stay with the beast and turn their backs on God. I feel sorry for those people. I know that is the only way they know to live ,but God did give everyone a mind to make choices with. I guess I will never understand how someone could choose the beast over God. The beast is a liar, a thief, and ruins will come to anyone who chooses to stay with him.

On the other hand God protects his people. God loves his children and the hour of his judgement will come to earth. Everyone will see they should have choose God over the beast.

The third angel came to earth and proclaimed a warning to the children of the beast. A warning about what was going to happen to them: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too will drink the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image or for anyone who receives the mark of his name.'

I can't believe that people stayed with the beast after a warning like that. God is telling them of the upcoming torment to come their way. To make the choice of staying with the best or to go with God. To repent and to have their eyes opened as well as their heart toward God. To feel peace and to be protected from the upcoming torment on the children of the beast.

I know that the ones that choose to stay with the beast is that decision is their own to make and I pray to God for them. I will always choose for God to be number one in my life and for the beast to be under my feet where he belongs.
