Kids birthday parties can get quite expensive nowadays. There surely are a lot of fun places where you can host your kids a fun party but they are not necessarily within the kind of budget you want to spend. To host a birthday party, or just any kinds of party, from renting the venue, preparing snacks & finger food, a birthday cake, to party decoration, mailing the invitations, party favors and all, they all add up to cost you a fortune.
Here is a list of my recommendations and ideas about kids birthday parties and hope you will find them manageable within your desirable budget. I would certainly welcome just any feedback and others' great suggestions as well.
Hosting a party at your house
1. Swimming pool or Lake side or Beach front
If you have a swimming pool in your community or even just right at your backyard, you can easily turn that into a great party venue and it certainly won't cost you a fortune. Set up a tent next to the swimming pool or at the beach side and it will give some shade for everyone to enjoy. When you are having the party especially next to water, safety is the number one priority. Be sure to keep extra caution and keep an eye on all the kids running around and being in and out of the water.
2. Pinata
Kids absolutely love this game. Once when the pinata is hung up, we let the kids take turn and they go hit the pinata one by one for a few strike. The lucky one will break it open to allow all the candies and goodies to fall out. The kids will get crazy and get busy picking up their favorite candies and toys. At this time you hand out to each kid a goodies bag for them to collect the candies so this will turn into the party favor for them to bring home with.
3. Inflatable
Shop around for party rentals and get a good deal on inflatable and turn the backyard to a fun party. In my personal experience, by checking out some local shoppers magazine, I usually can get some discount coupons for this. Rent one from just a couple hours or stretched to a day long, work it out within your budget and this provides a great place for kids to bounce, jump, and slide. You can even get one to make it a water slide to connect to a pool if the party is in the Summer time.
4. Princess Dress-Up Party
Dress-up party is quite popular. I was amazed by how much fun it could be. A friend of mine got all kinds of cute little princess dresses for the party. She owns a few and she asked around and was able to borrow a lot more from friends. She set up a make up corner and
