Reasons why people get fired

Being a person whom has held many supervisor positions, I have seen many reasons for firing out of a work place. There are the usually small acts, like absentees, tardiness and threaten co-workers. Then there are the acts that make you say uhum!

I have to fire a young man whom did not understand why he could not keep his fighting pit bull terrier in his work station, because someone were trying to steal the dog and he had no one he could trust to baby-sit the dog.

When I was painting homes, I had to fire a man because I would not let him sunbath in the nude, of the backyard of the homes while on his lunch break. He informs me that he was from California and that he done this all the time at his other job. Well this was Ohio and it was the middle of October, there was no sun.

I had a young man who would come but from lunch everyday one hour late. He said that he was late because he would stop by the hospital and sit with his, near death, mother. Well his mother called one day to apply for a job. When asked if the doctors would let her work with her condition, she had no idea of what we were talking of.

There were a set of identical twin (males) after hiring these young men, items begun to come up missing. Then there was a witness to one of them stealing the company lawn mower. Both were let go because we had no way of knowing which did the stealing. Another set of identical twins (female) would clock each other in and out so that they were never late. These women had rack up so much overtime that their checks were almost as much as the CEO's was for that week. Two floor employees with check of that amount, no way. This act causes the floor supervision to begin watch the twins more.

I overheard a story of three employees who were fired because a fight. The two men were fighting over whom turn it was to meet a certain young woman in the restroom for their nightly sex acts. One would meet her at the first break and the other at the second break. For some reason one did not go on break at regular time and the two men were to rotate they turns. Well, the second man felt that this would be a two-turn day for him.

There was a young woman who had stolen her boss's cell phone. The woman acts as though she had been trying to help the boss fine his phone all day. At one point the woman had went through every trashcan in the building. After a while, the boss decides to call the phone to see if he could hear it ring. The woman had change the ring-tone so when the boss heard it ring he did not know it was his. At the end of the day, after the woman thought the boss was going to chalk it up as a lost, the boss called the phone and she answers. She said she took the phone because she wanted some item of the boss to keep close to her.
