Songs: Life

Created on: March 04, 2009

Country is in trouble

Many out on the streets.

Depression and sadness rock many to sleep

No help was in sight

And no shoulders to weep; Can you hear them crying?

I hear the crying.

Obama's here now to lend a hand

We can rise above this. Yes we can.

We'll help our neighbors thru the drought

and our Lord God will keep watching out. Beacause

We are soldiers, looking for a victory

and together we form an army.

If we join our hands and exchange knowledge

The devil won't break our band

And we become Rock Solid.

We're in a depression

Like it's 1929. How will we make it?

That's on everyone's minds.

No money, no jobs

It's a sign of the times. Don't you hear them crying?

I hear them crying.

Obama's here now to lend a hand.

We can rise above this. Yes we can.

With love and faith we'll make it through

and God will help us too. Because

We are soldiers, looking for a victory

and together we form an army.

If we join our hands and exchange knowledge

The devil won't break our band

And we become Rock Solid.
