There are many things to consider when deciding to have a child, you need to first look at yourself and ask if you are ready for a child? Having a baby is a life changing decision and you want to consider everything before deciding to have one. Many women consider rather they are financially ready for a baby, psychically ready, mentally ready, emotionally ready. Though can you ever really be ready to have a child? Many would think so and they would tell you yes, you can be ready for a child. But I've learned in my experience of being a mother than no one is ever truly ready to be a parent and even after deciding to have a child there is many many things that you need to consider. You obviously should consider rather or not you are going to be a good parent, which I know is hard if this is your first child. No one really knows if they are going to be a good parent or not, they just kind of take what they have learned and or seen and go with it. Being a parent is a hard thing and considering to be a parent yourself is going to be one of the hardest decisions of your life and once you make it you are going to love it. Just make sure you consider how much time and effort the child needs in order for you to take care of him or her properly. You should consider taking some time off of work, you should consider settling down and finding a husband or a wife, because yes men can decide to have a child to.
Although I think the biggest thing that people forget to consider before they have children is rather or not they are in a stable environment and that they have everything that it takes to take care of the child. If they are going to be able to take time off of work and devote the needed time to their new baby in order to ensure the happiness and great up bringing the child needs. I've seen people by pass that when they decide to have children and it never turns out good in the end. I think you need to consider rather you are in a stable relationship with the person you are going to possibly have the child with, because raising a child in a broken home and or a dysfunctional family isn't healthy for the child and should be considered as well. I thought by being married I was in a stable relationship and was ready to have a child and once I became pregnant that all changed and now we are going to court, working on a divorce and he's fighting visitation. So I've learned a few things that I should have considered before bringing my child in to this world, but now that I did I know what mistakes I've made and what not to do next time.
