I am...
I am bright and graceful
I wonder what it would be like to walk
I hear the wind howling
I see the blooming flowers that I rest upon
I want to the rain to never fall upon my wings

I pretend I'm a dragonfly and flutter
I feel the cool air as I glide to my nest
I touch the tree branches as I rest my wings
I worry that i might someday not be able to fly
I cry when it rains and I'm left to cover
I am bright and graceful

I understand my wings give me strength
I say nothing to enjoy the moments with the peace iin my surroundings
I dream of a sunny day, warm with the sun on my back
I try to be quick but yet steady
I hope to leave on a day with my colorful wings spread wide fluttering through the air
I am...
Bright and Graceful
