THE WONDERPOD

"Why are you teasing yourself? Forget it man." Said Kyle as Jake took his older brother's advice and changed the channel in the middle of the popular Wonderpod commercial.

"I know, but Darryl and Cody have one and they're not even sixteen yet!" Pointed out Jake as he turned on his brother's computer.

"Look, I'm eighteen and you don't see me begging mom and dad for one." Said Kyle as his computer booted up to the desktop screen.

"Yeah, but you don't understand what the Wonderpod can do." Said Jake as he took the liberty of sitting in front of Kyle's computer.

"What do you mean? Its just another crazy Ipod with more memory and stuff!" Said Kyle as he leaned forward on his desk and watched Jake surf the web.

"Dude. This is not just your upgraded Ipod man! This is the Wonderpod! Everybody was waiting for the IWonder company to develop this kind of technology and its finally here!" Said Jake with a lit up smile just as the IWonder webpage appeared on the screen.

"Okay fine. But it says right there that Wonderpods cannot be sold to consumers under the age of eighteen." Said Kyle as he pointed to an area on the computer screen.

"Right! That's where you come in." Said Jake wearing a hopeful smile.

"Jake you're only sixteen. Even if you were eighteen, I wouldn't do this for you. I don't know much about it, but if it says that it can't be sold to kids under eighteen, there must be a good reason for it." He glanced as his watch for a moment. "Look, I have to leave for work. They're having a huge sale at the store today. But I'm afraid the answer is no man." Said Kyle as he pressed the off button on his computer, turned and quickly left his room after patting Jake on the back.The smile on Jake's face faded away just as the webpage vanished from the computer screen.

Later that evening, the doorbell rang. "Jake, can you get that? I'm changing your brother's diaper!" Shouted Jake's mom.

The doorbell rang again, only more intensely this time, but still, there was no answer.

"Jake, please pause that new game of yours and answer the door!" Shouted Jake's mom even louder.

Suddenly, the door swings opened. Kyle storms in. "Jake!"

Jake's mom appears and sees Kyle in a rage."

"Where's Jake?" Asked Kyle with a concerned expression on his face.

"He should be in his rooom why?" Asked his mother with her baby in her powder-bursted arms.

Kyle gave her a grim look and stormed into Jake's room.

"What is it?" Asked his mother who grew concerned.

Just as Kyle slowly opened Jake's door and peeked
