As a blogger, I have a passion for writing. I write constantly, and having two blogs, I keep quite busy writing! My passion started several years ago, when I discovered I had a gift. But even though I enjoy writing so much, I soon discovered that I couldn't keep going without some sort of revenue. So I begin to look for ways to help make money while blogging. I will share the easiest 3 methods with you.
Adsense.
Although it can be slow at first, I think adsense is one of my favorite long term ways to make some income on my blog. Adsense allows you to earn a percentage of their profits when you place ads on your blog. By inserting vertical adsense bars on my blog, and a banner at the top, I make some revenue. The minimum payout for adsense is $100, and though that is rather high, and it can take some time to reach it, it's always worth it when you get a check for $100 in the mail! As I said, it can be slow at first. But as you continue to add interesting writings to your blog, and start building traffic, you will begin to earn more.
Payed to blog.
There are sites that actually pay you to blog. Advertisers sign up, and pay bloggers to blog about their products or services. Although this can be fun and earn you lots of money, it takes time to build up a blog that is worthy of this service. Many payed to blog sites want blogs that rank high in the search engines, which is perfectly understandable! If you don't have a blog that has a good search engine ranking, start submitting good content to your blog, such as interesting articles, product reviews, news, etc. In time you will begin to see a difference in your blog's ranking.
Ads.
You can come up with your own ad system, where people pay you to have their ad on your blog. You can do this by using an html box on the sidebar of your blog. People may be glad to do this especially if you have a lot of readers.
Gaining readers and traffic can be a bit tedious, but is essential to earning money from your blog. You can participate in blog networks, such as entrecard.com, and spicypage.com, and comment on other peoples blogs. When writing content for your blog, be sure to include a few good keywords so you will be found easier in the search engines. Make sure your content is good, and not filled with "spam" keywords, as this could hurt your ranking instead of helping it.
The 3 ways for making money blogging I have listed are some of the best ways for people who love writing. When you have a passion for writing, it's hard to get discouraged about all the work with low income! I blogged for a very long time without even thinking about making money from it. Now that I have implemented some of these ideas into my blogging, I now earn some income from blogging.
