The marriage of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill is very strong. They are a very compatible couple who are very generous with their time and money as country music stars. They both understand the value of having a family and not missing moments that are so crucial in the lives of their girls. They also agree on issues such as politics and religious philosophy. They both are Christians and understand the importance of social justice when expressing their faith. The donations to the families of police officers killed in the line of duty in particular stand out in my mind. They are also both Democrats who have praised people like Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton. Faith has donated money to the Democratic National Committee as has Tim McGraw so this shows that their bond also extends to their politics. Faith also performed at the Obama inauguration and seemed genuinely excited with how the day went and of course the election results. Tim reportedly even wanted to go on the Vote for Change Tour back in 2004, but most of his handler felt it was a bad idea especially after what has transpired with the Dixie Chicks.
Tim has even expressed interest in running for Governor as a Democrat in the state of Tennessee. The current Governor of Tennessee is term-limited when 2010 rolls around, but that seems to be too early of a run with their daughters still so very young. It would also be an interesting run because most of Tim's roots are based in Louisiana. The strain of a life in politics may really test the strength of the marriage of Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. The schedule may or may not be as hectic as the schedule of a world famous music artist, but it depends upon who you ask. Faith would certainly use their marriage as an example of a strong marriage for young, unwed couples in cities like Memphis where the number of unwed mothers is rising.
You could certainly see how devoted Faith is to her husband when a female fan grabbed her husband in an unclassy way during a concert a while back. As to why someone would do something disrespectful and disgusting whether the man's wife was standing right there on stage with him or not is beyond me. Staying married as huge stars is tough enough, so it certainly isn't good to see people trying to get in the way of a committed couple.
Tim has recently expressed some frustration with his record company over the release of a live album that he did not authorize. He was afraid that his music may become over exposed and his frustration with the music business may push him quicker into the political arena.
