As we get older, caring for our skin becomes more important. Most women try to maintain healthy and glowing skin with a minimum of fine lines and wrinkles. If you're above 30, you may need special treatments to maintain youthful and healthy looking skin. One treatment that has been successful for many women is facial skin peeling.
Skin peeling is the process of removing the dead skin cuticle with the use of chemicals. Skin peeling is usually done on the face and neck to overcome problems, such as laugh lines, brown spots due to sunlight, accumulated dull, dead skin, and scars left from pimples and other skin irritations.
After you do a skin peel your skin will look radiant, young and have significantly fewer lines and wrinkles. This is because the dead, dull and blemished skin that has accumulated has been peeled away.
There are many spas and salons that offer facial skin peels and full beauty treatments.
But a milder, yet safe and effective skin peel can be done in the comfort of your own home. There are many brands and types of skin peels available at your local beauty and cosmetics counter these are safe to apply by yourself in your home. Some skin peels contain Alpha hydroxyl Acid AHA which is an acid found in fruits. You can do a successful skin peel using one of the following ingredients.
How to make and use:

Directions

Another good ingredient for a skin peel is plain yogurt. Apply a thin coat of yogurt to face and neck, let dry while you relax and then gently rub off in a circular motion with your fingers. Rinse your face with warm and then cold water. Dry face and moisturize face as usual.
No matter what type of ingredient you use for your skin peel, it is recommended that you stay out of direct sunlight, and refrain from using makeup for the next 24 hours.
