I prefer being happy
Dislike being sad
But sometimes
Gloom
Creeps in
And doubts of who I am
And what I can do
Overshadow my day.
I struggle
To make life fit
To do all I can
Decisions are fraught
With hesitation
And fear .
Hope
Movement
Change
Creation
Hold fast and tight
Don't
Unwind
As I struggle to
Hang on to the happiness
While chasing the fear.
