*Carefully select keywords- The keywords used for SEO marketing should be relevant to the product or service offered. The secret is to anticipate consumer searches. What are people curious about? What are their needs? How can a company meet those needs?

Incorporate those keywords onto the company's website through content or articles

However, if keywords are overused, the webpage loses rank. Keep keyword density moderate; 1%-3% throughout each article.

*Take SEO marketing beyond the basics. Company's can reach out to their customers by utilizing the same strategies on articles they submit to other sites including blogs and social networks.
Use links judiciously to bring people back to the company's site.
Submit articles to sites related to products and services offered.

*Stay on top of new trends and technology to keep an edge.

As the web evolves so does SEO. For example, semantic search engines are gaining a foothold in the industry. They are designed to provide searchers a more sophisticated way to search the web. A semantic search is entered using phrases or posing specific questions. This means that SEO marketing should take into account phrases as well as keywords.
