Escaping from the financial anxiety felt by many people in the world is a necessity to keep sane and objective to deal with all the challenges around us. Even those who have none are burdened by those around them who do. Most feel like getting away from it all and this we must do, at least for a while. Hollywood did exceptionally well in January of "09" but there are many other ways to recreate and just enjoy life depending of course on one's budget, circumstances, and preferences.
Whatever your sports are, work out routines, or hobbies: do not give them up. Try as much as possible to keep a routine in your life and of your family members. In times of uncertainty and fear we need a routine more than ever. Young people need the re-assurance of adults that things will be eventually o.k.. Older people need to be re-assured too.
If you're one of the lucky ones who does not have financial worries just keep on doing what you do in recreation. Your sense of security, serenety, and smile will be an inspiration for all. Do try though to get away from the people at work or elsewhere who are constantly negative of the times. It will be difficult these days but you too need to escape from negative people and environments. Take a vacation and have fun! When you return make it a point to spend a couple of hours a day doing something fun without thinking, talking, or listening to others being apprehensive about their finances.
Everyone needs a break every day and longer on weekends. Have a realistic plan to improve and deal with your finances and then forget about it and enjoy life. Continue any form of recreation you can afford and take up new ones which may not cost as much. Some time has to be getting exercise and fresh air. Parks and zoos are either free or cost little. Movie matinees are cheaper certain times and sometime movies are shown free in some organizations or universities nearby. Many cultural activities are free to the public as well as lectures. The library is free. Check out the festivals and fairs as the weather warms up. Get together with friends for a drink or snack. Do still go out to dinner and dancing by checking out the specials. Take the family out too and cook a special meal sometimes. Have fun with the family!
Life is full of ups and downs as well as in betweens but we need to enjoy the life before us all the time. Economics is an important part of life but only one part. Remember that the best things in life are free. Focus on what you are most grateful in your life and you'll stay happy. We need to fill that glass of life before us with the wonderful pleasures of life and the wonderful people in our life.
