While the existence of UFO's cannot be questioned, where these craft originate can be debated, and we should admit that we don't know exactly what they are. Are they truly craft piloted by beings from other planets, or are they just military craft that have been tested in too public a venue? Are they craft from the future that have been made by a civilization that can travel through time, or are they just figments of our imagination? No matter what they are, here is what you should do if you see one.

First, you should try to get some sort of proof that there was in fact a UFO in the area that night. Try to get a photo, or a video of the event, or try to find someone nearby who could snap a photo, or has a camcorder that you can use. Having some sort of documentation of what you saw will increase your credibility, and people will listen to you.

If you see something in the sky, and you can't get any sort of video, or photo, call the police, or anyone who could perhaps look into the matter. You could also call the airport to see if they saw anything unusual, or the local media who could use its investigative resources into looking into the matter. They would probably have reports of anything unusal, especially if anyone else happened to see what you saw.

Make sure to take any mental notes of what you saw, so that you can be as helpful as possible when making your report. If you have a photo, or a video, you can use that when making any reports. If you do not, try to draw a sketch, or take some rough measurements of the object. That way if anyone comes to investigate the matter, such as a UFOlogist, you can help them corroborate the story, and compare your story to anything that anyone else may have seen.

If you see a UFO, don't take it for granted that you saw a craft from another world. While an object may be unidentified, it could just as easily be a star, planet, or any other type of object that you could have mistaken for something else. By getting in touch with a scientist, or even the weatherman at the local news, you can help confirm whether or not there was any natural events going on that night that you might have mistaken for a UFO.

I could imagine that seeing a UFO would be a pretty neat event, and something that you would never forget. Just the fact of not knowing what you are seeing can provoke so many feelings. What if you just witnessed the passing of an alien ship? That would certainly alter your perception of the world. Or if it is just secret government technology, you have witnessed the future of technology. Either way, you have seen something fantastic, and will always have your story to tell.
