A pointless endeavor
To reach out to her
If I know that she'll never
Reach out in return
A heart without a beat
She handed to me
I know this could not work
For our hearts are not in-sync
A kiss without a meaning
Is all that I receive
Though I do my best to give her
All that she could need
A love that lasts forever
Is a love you can't resist
But a love without forever
Is a love that does not exist
