The founder of Christianity, Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, said of himself, " I am the way, the truth and the life". Jesus Christ is the Life. The antithesis of life is death, and to carry the reality of life and death to ultimate reality, it is a struggle between the truth and the lie, the sublime and the profane, between good and evil. The last enemy of life who will be destroyed when Christ returns to establish his everlasting kingdom will be death. Life and death are always diametrically opposed.
